WHAT’S GOING ON? DECEMBER 2011 Gemini Moon – Circle of Light

As the season of our Winter Solstice, December holds a promise but asks us to contribute to own welfare, also. The planetary angles held within the Full Moon of December 10th form a near perfect Star of David. As you probably know, the Star of David is formed by two intersecting triangles. In this case, the first triangle is formed by a grand trine of Neptune and Chiron (Aquarius/Pisces), Saturn in Libra, and the Gemini moon. This grand trine speaks to our power to manifest our vision; Saturn is working overtime these days to encourage each and every person to connect with our inner strength while holding fast to our dreams.
The second, interlocking grand trine is formed by Mars, Jupiter and a near Pluto/Venus conjunction in Capricorn. This grounding earth sign triad serves to center us as well as provide a reality check. Really, what can be better? We are served by vision, dreams, and manifestation. To round this configuration, Mars in Virgo squares the Sun/North Node conjunction in Sagittarius. This provides fuel to the fire of transformation.
While the December 10th Gemini Full Moon is comforting and supportive; the Capricorn New Moon of December 24th is more challenging. We enter into the New Year with total intensity. The New Moon (and therefore Sun) join Pluto in early Capricorn, and form a stressful square to revolutionary Uranus. The message of this lunation is clear: we have been given blessed with encouragement and support –and now, we must show up and contribute as co-creators with the divine energy that we are so blessed to be a part of. This is IT folks; the promise and the challenge. We can choose to remain befuddled in distractions, but be very clear – the time of power is in the NOW. The planets are elegantly simple, concise, and very clear. Welcome their energy into your life, honor the New Moon, and greet this Circle of Light.
